BTH Equestrians offers a variety of training, lease and lesson options to accommodate any budget and schedule; board is included in training and lease prices below.

Full Training:
$800 per month

Full training horses are entitled to a maximum of 5 lessons or training rides per week as needed for the horses comfort, ability, and confidence. Horses in full training are turned out daily as weather permits in grassy half acre pastures or our all weather turn out paddocks with access to slow feeders during daylight hours.  BTH Equestrians believes that proper turn out and grazing is not only beneficial, but necessary for a healthy, happy horse. This is why BTH Equestrians is proud to be sponsored by The Natural Feeder Company, which provides our horses with their fabulous slow feeders, allowing every horse to graze 24 hours a day as nature intended.  This ensures proper gut motility and maximum absorption rates for all feed while greatly minimizing ulcers, stress habits, and the potential for colic.  All full training horses live exclusively in the main barn, and also receive regular grooming, mane pulls, show clips, handling for and the regular scheduling of routine care including but not limited to chiropractic, massage therapy, veterinary, and farrier.  In the main barn horses have their stalls cleaned at least once daily, twice if needed, and are bedded with rice hulls over 3/4 inch rubber mats for comfort and cleanliness.  Full training horses are fed a daily morning bran mash with their supplements, high quality hay, and Equidae brand grains as needed for additional supplements.  Full training horses are provided one tack locker.  Clients are to keep all personal belongings in their tack locker.  Clients in full training will have all shows scheduled and entries filled out and mailed in for them as well as first option for trailer space when BTH Equestrians hauls to shows, clinics, and events.  Clients will be billed separately for routine care and must provide their own supplements in Smartpak.

Consignment Sale Horses:
$600/month + 20% commission

Sale horses are accepted on a per-case basis and must be approved before being accepted into the  BTH Equestrians consignment program.  Each consignment horse is in the equivalent of full training but no lessons or client rides are included.  Horses are ridden solely by Brittany in order to ensure they are well prepared for potential buyers. Consignment horses receive the same stabling, feed, and care as a horse in full training.  Horses on consignment will be videoed, photographed and advertised at owners expense.  BTH Equestrians will show your horse to potential buyers, communicate on your behalf with all interested parties, and maintain updated website and ad information. Brittany will personally negotiate all offers and manage all paperwork involved in the sale.  There is a $1,000.00 fee for removal of a consignment horse from the program before it is sold, this fee is waived if the horse remains in full training with BTH Equestrians and is held as a deposit upon acceptance of horse in the consignment program.

 Full Lease:
$800/month plus expenses

A lease is a great way to have a horse of your own without the costs associated with purchasing.  BTH Equestrians owns and insures all lease horses so the costs are significantly reduced for the lessee. Horses available for full lease may be our semi-retired, experienced, and safe school horses or when appropriate one of our competitive A/B circuit show horses.  Our school horses that are available for lease have their own saddles and bridles that are fitted for their comfort and are to be used by the lessee at all times.  Full lease horses live either in the main barn or out in our large 2 acre pasture depending on their needs.  Some of our older show horses benefit from the ability to walk around at will to alleviate discomfort from age-related rheumatism.  Clients full leasing a horse are entitled to up to five lessons/training rides each week, exclusive use of their leased horse for shows and clinics, and all show scheduling by BTH Equestrians.  Full lease horses will remain show clipped, manes pulled, wormed, and vaccinated by BTH Equestrians. Clients will be responsible for all farrier, chiropractor and massage therapy as well as all maintenance and supplements.  Lease fees may apply to certain horses so please contact Brittany at 916-844-9714 for more information about our available lease horses.

Half Lease:
$450/month flat rate
If you feel ready to ride more but not sure you have the time or budget for a full lease a half lease is the perfect stepping stone.  A half lease, as indicated by the name, entitles the rider to one horse for half of the horses normal work week.  This ensures you will ride, care for and show the same horse all the time.  Some lease horses are also lesson horses and will be used for lessons during the lease.  Each half leased horse will be cared for as a full lease horse and may live in the main barn or in pasture depending on what is best for the horse's overall health.  Clients half leasing are able to take up to three lessons a week and have use of their half leased horse for schooling shows and BTH Equestrians will handle all show scheduling and entries.  Half lease horses have their own saddles and bridles that are made to fit them and are to be used by the lessee at all times.  All routine care including shoes, vet, chiropractor and massage are covered by BTH Equestrians.

*Clients are to ride on scheduled days and times, preferably in lessons to avoid setbacks and bad habits in their riding and horsemanship skills.  Clients are welcome to arrange to see their horses worked and can substitute any ride for a lesson.  Clients are not to ride on their own without someone at the facility for safety purposes.  Group lessons will be arranged to accommodate riders and horses at similar skill levels.  Private lessons are scheduled regularly for all clients and are included in the program.  Leased horses are never to be ridden out of lessons and are not to be taken off the property by the lessee for any reason.*
